Brighton Main Line Works…

If you live in the Sussex area, I’m sure you’re well aware of the recent closure along the Brighton railway line… GOOD NEWS, life can now resume back to normality as the vital engineering work has now come to an end!

Over the short-term closure period (9 days), an impressive total of 250 engineers worked around the clock at 26 different sites. We’ve contributed to this by supplying 15 members of our operations team to help restore the various sites where required. More information of these facts and figures can be viewed by clicking here…

Our contribution

We’re proud to have been part of this large-scale regeneration scheme! Throughout this closure period, our multi-skilled operations teams have been very busy carrying out some of the following services at each site and station:

  • White and yellow lining on the platforms edge
  • Preparation and painting of various ticket halls and waiting rooms
  • Deep cleaning of concrete walls, platform areas, staircases and general station maintenance.

A fantastic transformation to have been a part of. A brighter Brighton Main Line, ensuring the stations have had the TLC they deserve. All stations cleaned and left sparkling, perfectly timed for Spring’s arrival!
