The A30 bypass is a dual carriageway that goes through Devon and into Cornwall. Costain, in a joint venture with Jacobs, completed the construction of a new 9-mile dual carriageway to replace the last remaining single-carriageway section, improving traffic flow and boosting the local economy. 

The CC-IS team were bought in to treat 14 structures along the route between Chiverton and Carland Cross in Cornwall. On each structure we carried out a deep clean of the bridge, removing all grime and surface contamination.

The next step was to apply a clear, permanent, anti-graffiti treatment to protect the bridge.

All the work was completed to National Highway Standards.
