Internal cleaning and restoration require another level of organisation and preparation to ensure both the highest quality of work as well as protecting the rest of the building or structure from any spray/debris resulting from the cleaning operation. One method we use is our Microstrip System, we can use this to rejuvenate a number of substrates including moulding brickwork, grimy tiles or rusted metallic elements.
The Microstrip system can be utilised with a vacuum recovery add on which is a very tidy and environmentally friendly method of recovering & recycling the media used on restoration projects, its also great at keeping the rest of the area free from dust and debris; meaning other trades can carry on working.
Another service we offer which is utilised frequently by our customers are our intumescent coatings preparation capabilities which often require a specific level of surface standard prior to application whether it be to new steelwork or steelwork with an existing coating, however this is not something all applicators are in a position to carry out “in house”. As an ICATS company ourselves, we understand how vital a properly prepared surface is prior to any coating application. This is why we offer a preparation service to work in tandem with Intumescent Applicators that do not have in-house capability.
Nothing gets more abuse than the floor when it comes to almost any type of building, not only can our fully trained and qualified teams expertly clean/restore external surfaces but have years of experience cleaning an extensive range of internal surfaces. Utilising equipment such as the Aquila jet wash system, enclosed head rotary floor scrubbers with vacuum recovery & recycling and TomCat Edge Machines, to name a few, depending on what is best equipped for the job at hand.
